La Hacienda -- Draper, UT --

If your looking for good authentic mexican food, this is the place to go. It is a family owned business, and they are very friendly and happy to see you. We were seated quite quickly and given chips and salsa to get us started. The chips we great, crisp and light, and the salsa awakened your sleeping taste buds. You have to be careful not to stuff yourself on these things cause what comes next is even better. I have never had a chimi before, so that was first on the list, followed by a chili verde burrito, also a first. These come standard with refried beans and rice. The food came out of the kitchen in just a few minutes on hot plates, and we were ready to endulge. The chimi was very good, but in my mind I kept thinking it was a giant egg roll. One of those things I would call a brain cramp, but I did enjoy it. The burrito had some nice heat to it, and also was quite tasty.
I have eaten at a lot of mexican food restaurants in my life, but this really has to rank up in the top on my favorite list. I will visit again next time I am in the area.
